Boston Naval Shipyard

Charlestown MA

Most recent update: May 21, 2011.

The Boston Naval Shipyard was established in 1800 and closed in 1974. It is now part of Boston National Historic Park, run by the National Park Service. The big graving dock in the South Boston annex is available for commercial use but is not much used. Visit the shipyard here and see it from the air on Google here.
