Stonington Boat Works was started by Henry R. Palmer in 1938 and continues in business today. Visit them at stoningtonboatworks.com. The yard is on N. Water Street, at the west end of Palmer Street. See it from the air on Google here. Note that there is a similarly named yard, Stonington Yacht Basin, in Stonington ME: this yard is not that yard.
