Mamaroneck NY

Derecktor Shipyards was established by Bob Derecktor in Mamaroneck in 1947 and is known worldwide as a builder of racing yachts. A second yard in Dania FL provides yacht maintenance and refit services and a new yard for the construction and refit of megayachts is being developed in Fort Pierce FL. For a while they also had shipyards in Middletown RI and in Bridgeport CT, but both failed. Visit the company at derecktor.com and see the Mamaroneck shipyard from the air on Google here.
