Marine Industries Northwest

Tacoma WA

Most recent update: September 24, 2018.

Marine Industries Northwest, Inc., (MINI), was established in 1976 by Don Slater, a Michigan naval architect. He retired and sold the company to Vigor Industrial in 2010. It is basically a repair yard, with a haulout and a floating dry-dock, but it also has a limited record as a boatbuilder. The yard is on East F Street in Tacoma's Middle Waterway, adjoining the MSRC yard. See it from the air on Google here.
