Camden NJ

Most recent update: August 26, 2021.

Penn-Jersey Shipbuilding was formed in March 1940 in the Cooper Point section of Camden, on the site at the north end of North 5th Street previously occupied by Camden Shipbuilding Company, which closed about ten years earlier. It barely lasted through the war, closing in June 1945 after delivering its last ship.
