Erie Concrete & Supply Company was formed in 1913: it established a shipyard for the war effort in 1941 and closed it in 1945. The yard was on the Lake Erie waterfront, on land leased from the Pennsylvania Railroad, about a mile from the main Erie Concrete plant.
