Pacific Coast Shipbuilding

Pacific Coast Shipbuilding Company was organized in 1918 to build cargo ships for the USSB. It was built by Robert N. Burgess, a local developer, next to the terminus of the Southern Pacific and Santa Fe Railroads. The site is now occupied by the Naval Weapons Station Concord.
