J. & J. Marine was started by Brian and Buddy Johnson in 1993. In 1999, they closed J & J Marine and started B & B Boatbuilding in the same location, at 14750 City Dock Road. Then, in 2007, they split the yard in two and started Gulf Coast Steel. See the yard from the air on Google here.
