Hiltebrant Dry Dock Company was in operation in WWI and was still building minesweepers in the 1950s. It was located on the south side of the creek in Kingston, between Spring Street and and Plantasie Avenue, where the Rondout Yacht Basin is today. See the site from the air on Google here.
