Brunswick Marine

Brunswick GA

Most recent update: November 20, 2016.

Brunswick Marine Construction Corporation was a small yard that had started in business before World War One. With the coming of World War Two, it was awarded a contract by MARCOM for the construction of an emergency yard. After exhibiting "management weaknesses", however, the emergency yard was turned over to J. A. Jones Construction and Brunswick Marine just built small vessels. The yard was on Bay Street, at the foot of Dartmouth Street: it's an empty lot today.
