Percy & Small
Bath ME
Percy & Small was started in 1894 by Samuel R. Percy Jr. and Frank A. Small, and closed in 1920. The yard was on Washington Street, near Marshall Street: the Maine Maritime Museum is there now and has preserved much of the old yard, including a stylized mock-up of the framing of the 6-master Wyoming. This is something not to be missed if you are in the area. The table below lists 44 of the 45 vessels that Percy & Small built: can anyone identify the missing hull?
