Robert Palmer & Son
Noank CT
Most recent update: May 20, 2016.
Robert Palmer & Son started in the 1860s and closed in 1914. The yard was reactivated for WWI by C. W. Morse, of U.S. Steamship Co., as part of Groton Iron Works. It closed again in 1928 and was reactivated again for WWII by Noank Shipbuilding. It is still a boatyard. See it from the air on Google here.
