Kelley Spear
Bath ME
Most recent update: April 13, 2016.
Kelley, Spear & Company was organized in 1886 by John R. Kelley, D. Howard Spear and Elijah F. Sawyer: it closed in 1923. After moving around a bit, they bought the yard on Front Street, immediately to the south of the Texas Steamship yard. It was essentially destroyed by fire in 1934, along with Texas Steamship.
