Houghton Bros.
Bath ME
Most recent update: February 15, 2019.
Levi Houghton started his shipyard in 1819 and was succeeded by his four sons in 1858. The yard was at the foot of South Street: it closed in 1891 and was absorbed into Bath Iron Works. The table below is very thin on what happened to these boats but those built before the Civil War are beyond the scope of this web site.
