Crawford & Reid
Tacoma WA
Most recent update: May 10, 2016.
F. M. Crawford, a lumber merchant, started this shipyard in the late 1890s and was later joined by Captain James Reid, who was an experienced shipbuilder: they closed it in 1914. It was located next to Babare Bros., at the foot of N. Carr Street, in Old Town Tacoma, where the Silver Cloud Inn is today. See the site from the air on Google here.
