Container and Ro-Ro Ships Built in U.S. Shipyards Without Subsidy - For Domestic Trade
Since WWII, 16 containerships and 29 roll-on/roll-off ships have been or are being built in U.S. shipyards for domestic trading. Of these 45 ships, 8 have been scrapped, 10 have been converted to naval auxiliaries and the remaining 27 are deployed in the domestic trades.
