Deliveries of Ships, Boats and Oceangoing Barges in 2021

This table reports deliveries from U.S. and Canadian yards of ships, boats and oceangoing barges, as detailed in the US Coast Guard's PSIX database and Transport Canada's vessel registration system, or in some other reliable source. The date shown for each vessel is that on which its Certificate of Documentation was issued, which should be, but may not be, the same as the date on which the shipyard made delivery of the vessel to its owner. Note that the PSIX no longer identifies either the builder or the owner of a new vessel. Fortunately, the builder can usually be identified by the structure of a vessel's hull # and the owner by its name: other info can be found in web sites and press reports but a few gaps remain.
