Minesweepers WWII

(J, T, MMS) Built in WWII (Or Between The Wars)

Most recent update: March 6, 2015.

Until recently, almost all Canadian construction of minesweepers was focused on the needs of WWI and WWII, when the RCN functioned as a part of the RN. As a result, many of these boats were built for the RN, and some for allied nations. The designs were fishing vessel designs, in the expectation that that would be what they became when the war was over.
