Minesweepers WWI

(CD, TR) Built During WWI (Or Earlier)

Until recently, almost all Canadian construction of minesweepers was focused on the needs of WWI and WWII, when the RCN functioned as a part of the RN. As a result, many of these boats were built for the RN, and some for allied nations. Many designs were essentially fishing vessel designs, in the expectation that that would be what they became when the war was over.
