Canadian Dredge & Dock
Kingston ON
Canadian Dredge & Dock Co., Ltd., was organized in 1915, for the purpose of building the fourth Welland Canal: its facilities included a shipyard which maintained the company's large fleet of tugs and dredges. At the outset of WWII, the Government tasked them with building a variety of small craft and after the war, they returned to being primarily a repair yard but continued as a boatbuilder on a small scale. The yard, which closed in 1999, was located on Wellington Street, where the Kingston Marina is now. This table appears to be seriously incomplete.
